Side-line behaviour

Last season we had a number of instances where side-line was not up to the level expected. We as a Club are being pro-active in this area with reminding Parent’s, Players & Coaches/Managers of what is acceptable at any Football fixture or practice involving the children.

  • Cooperate with your coach, team mates and opponents

 Parents’ Code of Conduct

  • Encourage children to play according to the NZF Regulations and spirit of the game
  • Encourage all children to participate, do not force them • Focus on the child’s efforts and performance rather than the result
  • Never ridicule, yell at or abuse a child for making a mistake or losing a game

  • Remember that your actions will reflect on the Club

We understand that sometimes when we are on the side-line we can get a little carried away with our enthusiasm but if we can just remember that we are here to support the children & give them a positive experience. Also remember that all Referees, Coach’s & Managers are volunteers who devote a lot of time to give our children a positive footballing experience and deserve our respect & support.
