As one of the largest football clubs in the region, North Wellington Football Club is home to nearly 1,000 passionate players and over 70 teams. We are a proud hub of football excellence and community spirit.
Founded in 1972 through the merger of Onslow and Johnson Villa clubs, and later joined by Newlands Paparangi United in 1992, our history is rooted in unity and growth. For over 50 years, we’ve been dedicated to nurturing talent and creating an inclusive environment where players of all ages and abilities can thrive.
Our club offers opportunities at every level of the game, including:
- Men's Central, Capital, and Wellington Leagues
- Masters Leagues
- Women's Capital Premier and Capital Leagues
- Youth and Talent Development Programme (TDP) teams for U13–U17 Mixed and U14–U16 Girls
- Junior teams in all grades for players aged 4–12
From junior grassroots to elite senior competition, we provide a seamless pathway for footballers to achieve their goals, whether for the joy of the game or the pursuit of excellence through our TDP.
