WHO WE ARE

KI TE TŪĀRAKI | TO THE NORTH

We are North Wellington Football Club

At North Wellington Football Club, we are more than just a football club, we are a community built on inclusion, respect, ambition, and camaraderie. Established in 1972 through the merger of Onslow (1934) and Johnson Villa (1951), and joined by Newlands Paparangi United in 1992, our club has a proud history of uniting people through the beautiful game.

Our mission is simple: to create a positive and enjoyable environment for players of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Whether you're a young talent just starting out, a seasoned player striving for excellence, or a dedicated supporter, there's a place for you here.

A Legacy of Excellence and Inclusion

As one of the largest football clubs in the Wellington region, with over 70 teams and nearly 1,000 players, we strive to compete at the highest level while staying true to our values of fair play, respect, and community spirit.

Our Vision

We aim to:

  • Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Provide best-in-class services for players, coaches, officials, and volunteers.
  • Make a meaningful social contribution, creating opportunities for all.
  • Lead with humility, respect, and responsible behaviour on and off the field.
