They are the unsung heroes who work tirelessly to uphold effective governance and drive the continuous success of North Wellington FC.
Each year, these outstanding individuals are elected at our Annual General Meeting (AGM), where their passion for the game and commitment to excellence shines brightly.
Join us in celebrating their invaluable contributions to our beloved club!
I got involved with the club at Grade 7, coached the U10 Strikers, then joined the management committee five years ago. I became the Chairperson in December 2023. I’m happy volunteering and occasionally can be seen in the kitchen preparing food for the teams, though I’m no chef. I welcome conversations with anyone about football at North Wellington particularly over a beer or a coffee - just reach out
With over 14 seasons of experience in the Wellington football community, I’ve dedicated myself to supporting local clubs both on and off the pitch. I served as the 1st Team Manager and as Goalkeeper Coach at North Wellington FC from 2019 until 2023. I have been involved in managing 200 games across 4 clubs in Wellington in my 14 years. Now I’m focused on the backroom operations of the football club, a role I find incredibly rewarding as I continue contributing to the game I love.
My name is Tyler McRobie, and I currently serve as the Treasurer. My history with the club goes back to 2011 when I played for the North Wellington Juniors as part of the "NorWesters," a merged team with Western Suburbs. In 2023, I returned to the club as Team Manager of the Men's Reserves and transitioned to the first team in 2024.
Beyond football, I'm passionate about Thoroughbred racing and Australian Rules Football. I'm an active member of both the Wellington Racing Club and the Collingwood Football Club.
With North Wellington being one of the largest clubs in the Wellington region, I look forward to helping the club and its members grow, both on and off the pitch.
I'm Jo Davey and I'm the secretary of the NWFC Board. I joined the Board in July 2024.
I've been standing on the sides of football pitches for around 15 years now, watching both of my two sons play at school and various clubs.
I've been involved with North Wellington since 2022 when my youngest son started playing for Onslow/North Wellington TDP and have always enjoyed the community feel of the club.
I've really enjoyed being involved on the Board, learning more about how the club works and finding out just how much goes on behind the scenes.
In my day job I work in communications and in the past I've worked in human resources, event management and marketing.
I joined the club in February 2018 to administer the programmes and then took on the broader administration role of Club Manager in 2020. You will see me at Alex Moore quite frequently across all playing groups. I’m passionate about football being a life long Derby County supporter. If you hear a loud “come on Norths” at Alex Moore it’s probably me
Hi NWFC community! I put food on the table of my family by being a Real Estate agent at Just Paterson. When I'm not running around the city selling property, I consider my life to encompass the letter F. Family, faith, fatherhood, friends, football, food and fun! An interesting fact about me is that I have a pen collection that totals overs 5,500 pens from all over the world! I enjoy giving back to our club and being part of such a good community. Being part of an effective Board gives a great insight in to all the runnings and goings on of a club; I simply try to do my bit by helping out - do consider giving it a go, it's very rewarding and you meet loads of great like-minded people. Here's to a great season everyone, and do come and say hi to me, I'll absolutely stop to chat and do the same back!

Welfare
Kia ora koutou,
My involvement with NWFC started and continues as an enthusiastic parent on the sidelines through junior, youth (TDP) and now senior football. It’s a pleasure to serve on the Committee (and previously TDP Committee) with an interest in player welfare. I enjoy serving this great club to provide football opportunities that span youth development pathways through to social football across all ages.
Outside of committee obligations or being on the sidelines, you will find me working with clients as a self-employed Consultant through STILL (with my wife), or at the Salvation Army in Cuba Street that includes my passion for making music, spending time with family, and if there is any time left…. Fishing!
Am looking forward to a great season. Come and chat on the sidelines anytime, I don’t need a second invitation to talk about football, music or the one that got away!

Kia ora e te NWFC whānau.
I have been involved with the Club since 2012 and have two sons who both play for NWFC as goalkeepers. I have taken on many roles over the years: grade co-ordinator, team manager, committee member, shirt washer, ball pumper-upper etc.! I love being able to give back to the Club that has brought me and my whānau such joy, and I do this knowing it is run almost completely by volunteers. In 2024 I was lucky enough to go on the Women in Football Leadership programme and it was wonderful meeting lots of other wahine involved in the sport. I feel very lucky to be involved in such a great community; please say hi if you see me pitchside!
Hi, it’s Gdog, originally from Hawke’s Bay. I’ve been involved with the NW family for roughly 10 years. After moving here from the Bay and with my eldest son turning 5, he obviously had to play football, so I got involved with the junior football club as a volunteer and coach. I also helped with the merger of the senior and junior clubs.
My love and passion for football come from my family always being a part of some great clubs in the past. Over the years, I’ve helped with U17 and U19 tournament teams and have coached most of my kids through their respective junior grades.
I’ve met so many great people being part of this amazing club and can’t wait to meet more. So, if you see me around, or hear me, please say hi, and we can talk all things football!
