In summary:
The upgrade of the Artificial turf at Alex Moore due to it being at the end of its playable life is underway.The initial work will consist of the removal of the existing synthetic surface, work on theshock pad, the installation of the new surface and the infill necessary to complete a premier artificial.
The new turf will be a Liga Turf Cross with a Brockfill infill which has exceptionally high ratings for sustainability and is used in other parts of the country and world successfully.Work commenced at the beginning of October and will be ongoing for up to 3 months.
