Women's Head Coach - Announcement

North Wellington FC is thrilled to announce Ben Coom as the new head coach for our Women’s 1st Team!

With over a decade of coaching experience in women’s football, Ben brings a wealth of knowledge, passion, and commitment to developing the game. Starting his women’s coaching journey in the UK back in 2013, Ben has consistently demonstrated his dedication to empowering players and fostering a positive team culture.

Most recently, Ben was at the helm of the Havelock North Wanderers Women’s 1st Team in 2024. He is currently pursuing his OFC/NZF C License, reflecting his drive for continuous growth and excellence as a coach.

Ben is eager to immerse himself in the North Wellington FC family and the local community, working together to elevate women’s football at the club. We can’t wait to see the impact he’ll have both on and off the pitch!
